Sabrina Stea

Member of the Board of Governors

Sabrina Stea is a nurse clinician in emergency psychiatry. Prior to becoming a nurse, she worked on various community projects that incorporated theatre and the arts as tools for self-expression and self-empowerment and worked with various populations including people living with HIV and AIDS. After graduating from nursing and a few years of emergency nursing experience, Sabrina went to Bobo-Dioulasso, BF. She spent 1 1/2 years working alongside Christine Kafando, president of Association Espoir pour Demain (AED), a community organisation that provides support to infected women and their children. Inspired by the generosity and resilience of the burkinabe, Sabrina got involved with ABC and in February 2013 went to Leo, BF for a field visit.
